This spot is already widely popular, yet still relatively unknown in Germany - SwinGolf. The simpler and most importantly cheaper alternative to traditional golfing is attracting an ever-increasing fan base. SwinGolf is a French invention, deduced from old farming games. Aim of the game is to get the ball into a hole in as few hits as possible, using a club. The course is at least 80 meters, but can be up to 300 meters long.
A SwinGolf course can be created on an area as small as 5 hectares – without great expenses and environmentally friendly. In connection with a small gastronomic offer or a shop it quickly turns into attractive leisure facilities. This is why this new kind of sport is a real economic perspective for many farmers. You can start immediately: no long training, no expensive club membership, with only one club. Simple loose clothing suffices. Cheap and easy – that’s SwinGolf! SwinGolf is similar to traditional golf, but it differs in the following characteristics:
- one can play immediately, without a difficult and long learning phase
- one only needs one universal club instead of an entire set of clubs
- the balls are bigger, softer (hence not as dangerous) and they float in water
- the prices for SwinGolf are a lot lower
