More than just likeable!
GC Gut Brettberg Lohne in the region of south Oldenburg is said to be "pleasant". The atmosphere among the golfers is courteous and straightforward. Guests are very welcome. The course conforms harmoniously to the slightly undulating countryside, characterised by many natural obstacles in the form of ponds (on 13 fairways), waterways, both lengthways and across, and mature trees. The first impression of the course being easy will quickly be corrected; it demands everything, from long hitting to intelligent strategical planning of the game and the lengths. Nevertheless, the grounds are also very manageable for weaker players. Six shelter and toilet facilities are available for the golfers alongside the fairways. The course is playable all year long due to the sandy costal ground, except in extreme weather conditions.
